Most of the time when I am traveling, I avoid known brands and stores. On some rare occasions, I like familiarity. This was also conveniently located on the way to my terminal. Made a stop for a hot chocolate.

Lots of good comfy seating towards the back, but BIG shock - there is no free wifi!!!! Can't believe it - isn't that against the Starbucks credo? If had known this, would have gone elsewhere to get a coffee....
Oh- If you are a collector of Starbucks mugs from cities visited, then they have a collection of German cities, not just Berlin. -

An airport Starbucks...
Does it get much more exciting than this!?
No. But, I had an hour to kill waiting for my mom's flight to land at TXL, so this is where I perched. it's kind of crammed up into the attic airport in a very odd way. I enjoyed a big iced green tea to temper the barely there AC that is common in European airports, it seems.
But, it's everything you've come to know and love about Starbucks:
1. relatively fast.
2. free wifi.
3. small snacks/treats.
4. standardized offerings/pricing
5. people are somewhat friendly.
There you have it. If you're looking for a Starbucks at this airport...here it is, 2nd floor. In the TXL attic. -

Very few electrical outlets, and those available are nowhere near the tables on which you can set up your laptop. Curious oversight, and the level of comfort is generally below that of most other Starbucks. The staff are on the grumpy side, too. But that's just Berlin.
